South Ocean City, MD — Small Cells

Ridge managed and executed nine new small cell nodes across the Ocean City inlet and boardwalk, self-performing caissons, concrete restoration, pole installation, cabinet outfitting, and power and fiber. Work was completed in the off-season and through coastal winter weather to minimize disruption to pedestrian and vehicle traffic.

As prime contractor, Ridge delivered a 1,441 access point WiFi refresh at M&T Bank Stadium, including 815 new under-seat APs and 626 existing AP swaps across 51 IDF locations.

Oriole Park at Camden Yards — WiFi, DAS & 5G

Ridge produced the iBwave design and installed WiFi, Neutral Host DAS, and Verizon 5G, totaling 789 access points across 37 IDF locations and 25 DAS remotes. The project connected Oriole Park to M&T Bank Stadium with 1,728 fibers.

Ridge installed new Samsung LTE and C-Band equipment for Verizon and upgraded the passive DAS with new coax and antennas throughout the Farm Bureau event center.

Ridge swapped Nokia radios for new Ericsson equipment, including a new BBU and RRHs supporting 1900 LTE and 5G 850 NR, then commissioned and call-tested the Corning MobileAccess DAS to bring it online.

Ridge refreshed the venue for Verizon, removing end-of-life MobileAccess equipment and installing a full JMA Neutral Host DAS with five sectors and 18 remotes, providing 4G LTE and C-Band coverage throughout the convention center.
