Text Messaging Terms & Conditions
Ridge Equipment Company, Inc. (“Ridge Equipment,” “we,” “us”) operates the text messaging programs described below. These terms apply to all of our SMS/MMS programs. By opting in to a program, you agree to these terms.
Our messaging programs
1. Hiring & Recruiting
For job applicants. When you apply for a position and provide your mobile number with consent, we use SMS/MMS to send application-related messages, including pre-screening questions, interview scheduling, confirmations, and reminders.
How you opt in: by providing your mobile number and affirmatively consenting during our job application process (for example, by checking the consent box on our application form). We do not send recruiting messages to anyone who has not provided this consent.
2. Delivery & Warehouse Notifications
For drivers delivering to our warehouse. We use SMS/MMS to acknowledge arrivals, provide dock and check-in instructions, and coordinate delivery timing.
How you opt in: printed instructions on the shipping manifest and delivery paperwork ask you to text our number upon arrival or if you are running late. You initiate the conversation by texting us, which serves as your consent to receive operational reply messages about your delivery.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. For recruiting, it depends on your progress through the hiring process; for delivery notifications, it depends on your delivery activity.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile carrier’s plan. Ridge Equipment does not charge for these messages.
Opting out
You can cancel any program at any time by replying STOP to a message from that program. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation message and will not send further texts for that program unless you opt in again.

Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. No mobile information or consent data is shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, for any of our messaging programs.
